I’m Jess.

I recently got married to the man of my dreams. I know that is what most girls say about their husbands but it’s just so true. I mean, isn’t it pretty great to be able to say something like that? Anyway, here we are at out wedding. Which, by the way, was ABSOLUTELY amazing.

We live in Boise, Idaho in our tiny house (500sf) with our cat Lady Bird and our dog Piper.

I grew up in this area so I can’t wait for the day we get to go on the great adventure that moving is. I am still partial to the Pacific North West so I doubt we’ll go too far.

My dream at the moment is to become a wedding  and event planner, do some sort of interior  decorating, or consulting in one way or another. I  love taking a look into other people’s lives and seeing  how I can refine and improve on what they already  do.

I have a very vague goal of wanting to simplify and  minimize my life by pairing down my wardrobe, makeup, belongings, to-do lists, shopping, and  finances. I have no idea what it will all look like when it’s done, but I’m guessing it will probably never be done. It’ll be a lifelong pursuit.

I’m “graduate” from a bible college. By the quotes I mean that I graduated with my Associates degree but it took me four years to get it. I feel like I put in the same amount of work as a 4 year graduate does but received half of the rewards. I really hated college and do not consider myself to be a very good student. I think that’s about all of the formal education I can take and don’t see myself ever going back to finish a Bachelor’s degree.

That being said, I still have dreams of owning my own business, working from home in some capacity, and having my own clients. Now if only I could land on a specific business avenue.

Peonie and Pine is my first bought and paid for blogging space. I’m hoping it will open many doors for me and my quests for personal, emotional, relational, and business success.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Take a look around and ALWAYS feel free to engage with me in the comments. I try my best to respond to everyone.

Stay classy,

xoxo Jess

I would love to read more about your wedding & if that inspired you to become a wedding/event planner.

Lady Bird also seems super sweet.

  3. Okay you already know how much I love you, right?

And I would love to see some outfits too, like Madi suggested, but how about the story behind your tattoos, please! Pretty please?
